The Space Analytics report shows how each space is doing and lets you compare spaces over time. It has two subsections:
The Overview subsection has two parts: tiles at the top that total up your spaces, and a table below with the numbers for each space.
The tiles show a current count of your spaces:
The table below lists each space, sorted by Space Name. Click any column header to sort by another column:
You have the option to filter spaces based on their Visibility (private or public), or you can use the Search option to find a specific space.
Download the report on screen as a CSV file. The file reflects the filters you have applied.
This subsection has a chart at the top and a table beneath it. The chart plots space views over the timeframe you choose, alongside the previous period for comparison, and you can group it by Space and by Interval (day, week, month, quarter, or year).
The table lists every space that had at least one view in the chosen timeframe.
The spaces are arranged by Space Name by default, but you can modify this order by clicking on the header of any column to get spaces ranked by different metrics. Explore aggregated metrics by space over the selected timeframe:
You have the option to filter by the Visibility of the Space (private or public), or you can use the Search option to find a specific space.
Pick the timeframe to analyze. The default is Last 30 Days; you can also choose a day, a month, the past 12 months, or a custom range.
Some ways to act on what the report shows:
Review Trending ViewsRegularly review the trending views for your overall site. If you begin to see views change outside of expectations, consider if your content creators have adjusted their content strategy, frequency or if there has been a change in our user base.
Enhance Space EngagementWhen you are aiming to boost engagement within a specific space, select the space and choose the timeframe after your content strategy adjustment. Compare view counts before and after the alteration to see if your strategy is having the effect desired.
Monitor Last Published ContentFilter spaces based on Last published content to identify spaces where fresh content isn't being added regularly. For content that changes over time, such as product documentation, update the Published date when you revise it, so this report shows how much content is being kept current.
