Delete Domains | Axero Documentation

In Domain Configuration, you can remove a domain your intranet no longer needs to answer on. To open it, go to Control Panel > System > Domain Configuration. For an overview of the domain options themselves, see Domain Configuration.

Find the domain you want to remove in the list and click the Delete icon on its row.

Your browser asks Delete record? Click OK to remove the domain, or Cancel to keep it.

Two things limit what you can remove:

• You cannot delete the domain you are currently using. Axero compares each row against the address in your browser's address bar, and disables the Delete icon on the one that matches: it shows a padlock instead of the trash icon. Open the Control Panel through a different domain on the list to remove it.
• Nothing stops you removing the last active domain. Unlike adding or editing a domain, deleting one is not checked against how many are still active, so read the Is Active column before you delete.

Removing a domain stops your intranet answering on that address. It also deletes the license recorded against that domain and any media server entries set up for it. If you are moving your intranet to a different address, add the new domain and its license in License Manager before you remove the old one.
