Broadcast Email Notifications Setup

Table of Contents

The broadcast email is off until an administrator turns its template on. This page shows how, and what the template contains.

Broadcast Email Notifications

To turn on email notifications for Broadcasts, go to Control Panel > System > Email Templates.

On the Email Templates page, find Broadcast Send Notification Email.

Click the pencil icon on the right to turn on the email notifications. (By default, the notifications are turned off.)

To activate the notifications, click the Active checkbox.

Template Default Values

  • Template name: Communifire.Broadcast.SendNotificationEmail
  • Friendly name: Broadcast Send Notification Email
  • Description: Notification to a user for a broadcast
  • Subject: {{ENTITY_TITLE}}
  • Content Type: Multipart (TEXT & HTML)
  • Text body 
    {{ENTITY_BODY}}

Click Update.

Broadcast Send Notification Email will now show a Yes status on the Email Templates page.
