Axero comes with a variety of templates for displaying content, people, and menus. Each template has a unique design and works best for specific content types or situations. This page recommends templates for the Content List Widget, Navigation Widget, and People Widget .

Content List Widget

The Content List widget can be filtered by type, space, author, tag, and date, so one widget can serve many purposes. For example, you can create an "Announcements" widget that displays the most recent articles from a Company Announcements space, a "Support Dashboard" widget that displays open cases from the IT space, or a "Top Documents" widget that displays most viewed files from a Human Resources space.

Create visual interest

Content types such as articles, blogs, events, ideas, videos, and wiki pages have featured images. Encourage your content creators to use appealing, high quality images when they create these content types. Then use these templates to highlight featured images and grab users' attention.

Minimalist design for content without images

Content types such as cases, files, and discussions don't have featured images, and your content creators may not always add one. Use a template with a minimalist design to display these content types or mixed content.

Displaying cases

Cases allow you to set up a ticket-tracking system in any space. When displaying just cases, use the Case List Template to provide a detailed view of cases. Use multiple filtered widgets and the Case List template to build a support or project management dashboard.

Displaying events

When displaying events, choose these templates that include the event date and location. Highlight important team meetings, upcoming deadlines, or conferences and activities to help your people stay organized and on time.

Displaying photos

When displaying just photos, use the Carousel Photo Template. The slideshow cycles automatically, adding dynamic activity to your pages.

Navigation Widget

The Navigation widget builds menus on Page Builder pages and in the header, linking to content, personal tools, and outside sites, with icons from the built-in set or images of your own.

Use your own images

Use these templates when you want to use your own images in menus. Upload your company assets to match menus to your company branding, or use your own stock photos.

People Widget

With the People widget, you can feature specific people, create a people directory, showcase power users, and celebrate work anniversaries and birthdays.

Minimalist design for small teams

Use these templates to display basic information about people. These templates are perfect for displaying teams and small groups of people.

Note: To use these templates, select People List as the widget subtype.

People directory

Use these templates to create a people directory displaying job titles, departments, and locations. Both templates can be customized to show more fields.

Showcase power users

Use these templates to show who contributes most.

Note: To use these templates, select Top People List as the widget subtype.

Celebrate work anniversaries and birthdays

Celebrate work anniversaries and birthdays with the Birthdays and Anniversaries Template.

Note: To use this template, select Upcoming Birthdays and Anniversaries as the widget subtype.
