Award a Badge

Award a badge to recognize someone for their contributions to the community.

Click Create > Recognition

Enter a user to award a badge to.

Recognize modal

Select the recognition program and choose the badge.

Select a badge

Enter a message. Depending on the badge, a wall post will either be shared with the recipient, their friends and you, or everyone in the intranet. Your message will be the first comment on the wall post, so everyone will know what the user did to deserve this recognition.

Click Submit

Notes:

  • Some badges may be configured so that they can only be earned or awarded to a user once.
  • The Create > Recognition option appears for a user if they have a role that can award any badge in a recognition program they can participate in. (Determined by the badge's Roles that can grant setting and the recognition program's Membership criteria setting.)
  • This page for awarding a badge is not editable.
