My Files: File Version History

Version history shows every earlier revision of a file and lets you restore an earlier version.

Note: To enable personal files, a site administrator must set ShowNewMyAccountFilesView to true in Control Panel > System > System Properties. For space files, see File Version History.

Version history is part of Document Control. For your own files, the Version History option appears only when Document Control is set to On.

Click your name in the header

Click Activity Stream

Click My Content

Click Files

Click the options icon

Click Version History

A list shows each version of the file that has been uploaded.

Click a version to view it.

To restore an earlier version, click the options icon at the end of its row, click Restore this version, and confirm. You need the Roll Back permission; see Folder Permissions.
