Enable Automatic Screen Lock | Axero Documentation

You can lock the mobile app automatically after a set period of inactivity, so it asks for your fingerprint or face before it will reopen. Which method it uses depends on what your device supports. The screenshots below show an iPhone using Face ID.

1. Open the menu
Tap More in the bottom navigation, or the menu icon in the top-left corner of the home screen, depending on how your site's mobile navigation is set up.

2. Go to Settings
Scroll down and select Settings.

3. Turn on the screen lock
Under Privacy Settings, turn on the screen lock toggle. Its label follows the biometric method your device supports: Screen lock with Face ID, Screen lock with Finger ID, or Screen lock with Biometric auth.

4. Set the autolock timer
Once the screen lock is enabled, tap Autolock to choose when the app should lock after inactivity.

5. Choose when to lock
Select a time interval: Immediately, After 1 minute, After 15 minutes, or After 30 minutes.

6. Allow the app to use your biometrics
When prompted, select Allow. On the iPhone shown here that means granting access to Face ID.

7. The locked screen
Once the app is locked, it shows Axero App Lock is enabled. Authenticate the way your device is set up, with your face or your fingerprint, to carry on.
