Add a Message in Slack link to user profiles.

Add Template

1. Click the gear icon > Page Builder > Templates.
2. Click Add a new template.
3. In Template Name, enter Slack Field.
4. In Widget Type, select Field.
5. Paste the following code in the editor.

6. Update the Slack URL with one of the options below:
   • Free, Standard, and Plus Slack plans: Replace myorganization.slack.com with your workspace URL.
   • Enterprise Grid Slack plan: Replace https://myorganization.slack.com/team with https://myorg.enterprise.slack.com/user/@ , and replace myorg.enterprise.slack.com with your org URL. (More information here.)
   • Alternatively: Replace https://myorganization.slack.com/team/ with slack://user?team=<TeamID>&id= , and replace <TeamID> with your team ID.
7. Click Save Template.

Add Field to Edit Profile Page

1. Click People > User Profiles.
2. For the Edit Profile page, click the gear icon > Edit Page.
3. On the Contact Information section, click the gear icon > Expand.
4. Click Widgets.
5. Drag a TextBox into the Contact Information section.
6. On the TextBox field, click the gear icon > Edit properties.
7. In Field Label, enter Slack.
8. Click Field Help.
9. In Field Help, enter the following:

   Enter your Slack ID. You can get your Slack ID by viewing your Slack profile then clicking More > Copy member ID.

10. Click Save Widget.
11. Click Publish changes.

Add Slack Field to User Profile Page

1. Click All pages.
2. For the User Profile page, click the gear icon > Edit Page.
3. On the Work and Contact Information section, click the gear icon > Expand.
4. Click Widgets.
5. Scroll down the Fields list until you see the Slack field.
6. Drag the Slack field into the Work and Contact Information section.
7. On the Slack field, click the gear icon > Edit properties.
8. Click Template.
9. Select the Slack Field template.
10. Click Advanced.
11. Uncheck Show label.
12. Click Save Widget.
13. Click Publish changes.
