Google Drive Integration User Setup

Axero provides a powerful two-way synchronization between Files and Google Drive, enabling seamless file management and collaboration. The Google Drive integration offers these key features:

  • Automatic synchronization of your Google Drive files to Files every 3 hours.
  • Direct file uploads from Axero to your Google Drive account.
  • Quick and easy file downloads from Google Drive within Axero.
  • Seamless editing of Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides directly from Axero.

Important: Before you can connect to Google Drive, your site administrator must complete the Google Drive Integration Administrator Setup. This is a one-time setup requirement for your organization.

Setting Up File Synchronization

Follow these steps to begin synchronizing your Google Drive files:

Important Notes:

  • The Google Drive integration synchronizes all folders and files within your connected account automatically. Individual folder selection is not available.
  • This integration is designed for personal files only. Shared files will not be synchronized.
  • For shared file integration, we recommend using either the IFrame Widget or Raw HTML Widget.

Disconnecting Your Google Drive

To disconnect your Google Drive account from Axero, follow these steps:

Alternative Connection Method: My Files

If Google Drive integration is enabled in My Files, you can connect through the following path: My Content > My Files. Here's how:

Click your name in the header

Click Activity Stream

Click My Content

Click My Files

Click Add External Drive

System Requirement: The system property ShowNewMyAccountFilesView must be enabled (set to true) to allow Google Drive connections through My Files.
