Axero releases updates regularly. This page explains the two release types and how an upgrade to a cloud site happens.
To ensure your site benefits from the latest developments, we offer two types of updates:
General Release: This is the latest and most stable Axero version, constantly refined to address any issues reported by our customers. Axero will proactively schedule your site for a General Release update when it is available. If you would like to proactively request the General Release upgrade, you may contact our support team by opening a support case.
Limited Release: Issued after the latest General Release, this version includes features still being tested. It's perfect for those eager to explore the newest functionalities of the Axero platform, even as we fine-tune them. If a Limited Release addresses a specific issue you're facing or includes a new feature you're eager to try, submit a support case for us to review your site for an update.
Follow our New Enhancements page to receive updates on the features included in each release.
Scheduling and Communication: We proactively schedule General Release upgrades and inform you well in advance. Updates are communicated via email, typically a week before the upgrade, which is usually carried out in the late evening hours (Eastern Time) on Mondays or Thursdays to minimize disruption to your business operations.
Efficient Upgrades: An automated tool runs each upgrade:
Eligibility and Timing: Through regular assessments, we identify which sites are due for an upgrade, ensuring you always have access to the latest patches and features. Our goal is to keep your platform updated with minimal impact on your daily operations.
If you have a question about an upgrade, submit a support case.
