If you check Remember me next time when you sign in, Axero remembers your login for 30 days by default. After 30 days, the cookie (a small piece of data your browser stores) expires, and you have to sign in again.
To change when the Remember Me cookie expires, go to Control Panel > System > System Properties and set FormsAuthPersistentCookieTimeOutInMinutes. This is how long a user stays logged in after checking "Remember me next time" at login. With "Remember me next time" checked, the user stays logged in even after closing the browser.
You can also set FormsAuthNonPersistentCookieTimeOutInMinutes. This is how long a user stays logged in when they did not check "Remember me next time" at login. The user is logged out when the timeout is reached. They are also logged out if they close the browser (the entire browser, not just the tab), even if the cookie has not expired yet. On Mac OSX, to close the browser completely, select the browser program and select Quit.
You can log users out automatically after a period of inactivity. Go to Control Panel > System > System Properties and set UserInactivityTimeOutInMinutes. A user who is idle for that amount of time is logged out, whatever the values of FormsAuthPersistentCookieTimeOutInMinutes and FormsAuthNonPersistentCookieTimeOutInMinutes, and whether or not Remember Me is checked.
Note: If Single Sign On is configured and auto-login with SSO is enabled, users will be logged out and automatically logged back in after UserInactivityTimeOutInMinutes has passed.
