Header and Footer Scripts | Axero Documentation

Use these settings to add code, such as CSS and JavaScript, to every page. A common use is adding the script for Google Analytics or another third-party tool.

• Axero places header scripts inside the head tag, near the top of each page's code.
• Axero places footer scripts near the end of the body tag, after the page's content and footer.
• Where they run: on the community pages your members use, including the home page, spaces, content pages, profiles, and published Page Builder pages.
• Where they do not run: anywhere in the Control Panel, on the add and edit screens for content, or inside the Page Builder editor. This is deliberate: a site script cannot interfere with the tools used to administer the site. It does catch people out. A script that works on the live page appears to do nothing while you edit that same page, and analytics or chat widgets record nothing while you administer the site.

Click Save System Settings to save your changes.

Replace G-XXXXXXXXXX in both places with the Google tag ID from your Google Analytics property.
