Pending Activation | Axero Documentation

If user membership is moderated on your site, new users will receive an email to confirm their email address after registering. Users must click the link in the email, then site administrators and moderators will be notified to approve the account. Users that were bulk imported and whose accounts weren't activated also appear in Pending Activation. Accounts created through the API arrive here too, when they are created with their activation turned off, which lets an outside system set people up ahead of approval and hold them until an administrator activates them. See REST API: Update User Profile Fields. You can manage pending users in the Control Panel.

Resend Activation Email

Resend an activation email to remind someone to confirm their email address.

1. Click the gear icon > Control Panel > People > Manage People > Pending Activation.
2. Check users.
3. Click Resend Activation Email.
4. Click OK.

Activate Pending User

Approve a pending account to let the person in.

1. Click the gear icon > Control Panel > People > Manage People > Pending Activation.
2. Check users.
3. Click Activate.
4. Click OK.

Edit Pending User

1. Click the gear icon > Control Panel > People > Manage People > Pending Activation.
2. Click the edit icon.
3. The Edit Profile page will open. Make changes to the profile.
4. Click Save.

Delete Pending User

1. Click the gear icon > Control Panel > People > Manage People > Pending Activation.
2. Check users.
3. Click Delete.
4. Click OK.
