Embed Google Drive | Axero Documentation

Embed a Google Drive folder in Axero to provide easy access to your documents. This integration lets users view and access files directly within your Axero page, creating a seamless document management experience.

1. In Google Drive, navigate to the folder you want to display in Axero. Ensure this folder contains all the documents you want to make accessible.
2. Copy the folder ID from the address bar and save it for later. The folder ID is the long string of characters after the "/folders/" in the URL.
   
3. In Axero, go to Control Panel > System > Page Builder.
4. Add a new Page Builder page or edit an existing one where you want to display the Google Drive folder.
5. Click Widgets to open the widget panel.
6. Locate and drag a Rich Text widget onto your desired location on the page.
7. On the widget, click the  gear icon and select Edit Properties.
8. Update the widget Title to help identify this widget in the backend (Note: This title will not be visible to end users).
9. In the editor toolbar, click the <> Code Editor icon to open the HTML source code editor.
10. In the source code editor, paste the following code to create the embedded view:

11. Replace FOLDER_ID with the folder ID you copied earlier. Make sure to remove the entire placeholder text, including any surrounding characters.
12. Click Save Widget to apply your changes.
13. Click Publish changes to make the updates live.
14. Click Go to page to view and test your embedded Google Drive folder.

Important Notes:

• To view the list of files, users must be logged into their Google Drive account and have appropriate access permissions for the folder.
• If users are not logged into Google Drive or lack the necessary permissions, they will not be able to see the file list.

The integration with Google Drive will synchronize all folders and files within the connected account. Users will not have the option to choose specific folders for synchronization; instead, the entire content of the account will be synced automatically.

The integration with Google Drive is exclusively for personal files. Please note that any files that are shared will not be synchronized.

If you want to integrate shared files, you can use IFrame Widget or Raw HTML Widget.
