Creating user roles helps you organize people into groups and assign permissions. These roles are most commonly used for customizing permissions and for workflow approval steps.

To create space roles:

1. From the space, click Manage Space > Roles.
2. Click Add Role.
3. Enter a name and description.
4. Click Save.
