Manage Space: Add Workflow | Axero Documentation

A workflow consists of a series of moderation steps that require approval before content can be published. Each step is assigned to a specific user role. Content remains inactive until it is approved by all required roles in the workflow. Add a workflow to define the moderation steps that content must go through before it gets published. 

Note: Ensure that workflow is activated for the specific content type under Manage Space > Workflow > Workflow Settings.

To add a workflow:

1. From the space, click Manage Space > Workflow > Workflow Definitions.
2. Click Add Workflow.
   
   

   

   

3. Select the content type the workflow should apply to. 
   • For Discussions: Check Default workflow to make this the default workflow for new forums.
4. Enter a name for the workflow. This is used for administrative purposes only.
5. Enter a description of the workflow. The description is for administrative purposes. (Optional)
6. Check Activate this workflow to enable it.
7. Add steps to the workflow:
   
   

   

   • Click Add Workflow Step.
   • Select a role to complete the workflow step.
   • Enter a name for the workflow step.
   • Enter a description of the workflow step. (Optional)
   • Click Save.

8. After adding all steps, click Save again to save the workflow.
