When the Survey Goes Live

A survey is live as soon as you save it. There is no draft state and no scheduled launch, so everyone with permission to view surveys in the space can see it and start answering right away.

To build a survey ahead of time, remove the View permission from the roles that should not see it yet. Restore the permission when you are ready to launch. This is the only way to hold a survey back. The permission covers polls and surveys together, so removing it hides both.
