Create a Space

Spaces are virtual workspaces that you can create for the different groups within your larger collaboration community. They allow you to organize teams, groups of people, and content. By creating spaces for specific groups, you can organize information better, cut down on clutter, improve communication, and encourage participation.

Note: Take advantage of our Stock Space Images when you create a space.

Click Create

Click Space

  • Enter a name and description (This information will be available in Space Info and Browse Spaces)
  • Select the space type
    • Public: The space will be visible to the entire intranet
    • Private: The space will not be visible to the entire intranet
    See Space Types for more details on space types
  • Select member moderation
    • Yes: Users will need to be approved by a space member before they can join the space
    • No: Users can join a space and become a member immediately
  • Click Select Files to add a photo. Axero supports BMP, PNG, GIF, JPEG, and JPG file types. Suggested dimensions: 190x190.

Click Continue

Click the toggle buttons to turn features on and off.

Click Save Settings

You can always change space settings and turn features on and off in Manage Space: Application Settings.
