# Edit Header

Edit a header in the Control Panel to change its layout and its widgets.

A menu in the header takes people straight to the pages they use most: content homepages, individual pages, personal tools, and anything else with an address.

To edit a header:

1. Click the  gear icon > **Page Builder** > **Header**.
2. Next to a header, click the  gear icon > **Edit**.

## Options

- Click **All pages** to return to the headers list.
- Click **Preview** to preview your changes.
- Click **Update preview** to refresh the preview.
- Click **Hide preview** to hide the preview.
- Click **Publish changes** to save changes.
- Click **Go to page** to open the header in a new tab.
- Click the gear icon for more options:
    - Click **Add Page** to start a new, blank header.

    - Open [CSS Overrides](https://my.axerosolutions.com/spaces/5/axero-documentation/wiki/view/82/css-overrides "CSS Overrides") in a new tab.
    - Open [Logo and Branding](https://my.axerosolutions.com/spaces/5/axero-documentation/wiki/view/267/logo-and-branding "Logo and Branding") in a new tab, where you can change the header logo, header color, and favicon.
    - Click **Reset** to put one of the two default headers back to its shipped layout. See [Reset Header](https://my.axerosolutions.com/spaces/5/axero-documentation/wiki/view/78456/reset-header "Reset Header").
