# REST API: Axero Copilot Delete Feedback

DELETE/api/chatbot/chat/\{conversation\_id\}/response/\{response\_id\}/feedback

Deletes feedback previously submitted for a specific Axero Copilot response within a conversation

## Error Handling

| Status Code | Likely Cause | Next Action |

| 403 Forbidden | Not returned: the endpoint makes no permission check beyond requiring a signed-in caller. | No action needed. |
| 200 with IsError | The feedback could not be removed. Either Axero Copilot is not configured on the site \(Invalid Chat Bot engine property.\), or the Axero Copilot service refused the request for this conversation and response. A conversation belongs to the person who started it, so another user's IDs are refused too \(Conversation not found\). ResponseMessage and ResponseData carry the error. | Read IsError and ResponseMessage; check the conversation and response IDs. |
| 500 Server Error | Not returned for a failure inside the call: the endpoint catches it and answers 200 with IsError true. | Read IsError and ResponseMessage. |

## Rate Limits

While Axero does not enforce hard rate limits by default, we recommend the following best practices to ensure optimal performance:

- **Sustained Request Rate:** Do not exceed 5 API calls per second
- **Sequential Processing:** Wait for each request to complete before sending the next in automated workflows
- **Concurrent Connections:** If parallel processing is required, limit to 3 or fewer simultaneous requests
- **Response Timeout:** Ensure API responses complete within 15 seconds during testing

Axero may implement temporary rate restrictions if excessive API usage affects overall site performance. For high-volume integrations, contact Axero to discuss your requirements.
